THE BRIEF

To launch the 11th annual Sheffield Adventure Film Festival and the first Outdoor City Weekender, we worked with partners across the city to stage an opening spectacle that took ShAFF's on screen adventure outside and into the heart of the city.  

OUR SOLUTION

Collaborating with an expert group of highliners fronted by Sarah Rixham, the current world title holder of the longest female highline ever walked, we mounted a 60m long slackline, 125ft off the ground and invited the media to capture the moment.

IMPACT

Regional newspaper The Sheffield Star reported their highest ever viewing figures for a Facebook live report at over 35,000 users and by creating and distributing filmed footage of the stunt we were able to secure national print and broadcast coverage, including the BBC homepage, Telegraph and Daily Mirror.
