Wild Country tasked Band of Birds to organise a press launch for the REVO, a revolutionary new belay device which carries on their proud tradition of continually innovating to help climbers realise their goals.

Our Solution

Band of Birds collaborated with Wild Country to arrange a European press Launch for the REVO at Awesome Walls in Sheffield. We secured attendance from leading press publications, media outlets and bloggers from across Europe. To exclusively see the REVO in action for the first time, meet the design engineers and then climb with Wild Country athletes James Pearson and Caroline Ciavaldini in the Peak District National Park's iconic Stanage Edge.

IMPACT

Band of Birds secured coverage in leading trade publications across Europe and generated significant traffic to the Wild Country social media channels and website. As news and reviews of the new product landed this led to a spike in social media followers, newsletter sign-ups as well as audience engagement.
